What a mandir costs

Every piece is carved to order and priced delivered. The figure on a piece already carries the freight and the customs, so there is nothing waiting to be added at the door.

What the price already covers
  • The piece, carved to the wood and finish you choose.
  • Export packing and the sea freight from Ahmedabad.
  • Customs clearance and every import charge.
  • Two-person delivery and placement anywhere in Adelaide, ground floor.
What sits outside it
  • Delivery outside Adelaide, quoted by postcode before any deposit is taken.
  • Stairs or a lift at the far end, which we work out with you first.

What changes the price

Two things, and only two.

  • Size. The tiers below run from a piece made for a shelf to one that needs its own wall.
  • Wood. Saag and sevan are priced apart on every piece. Both are shown on each piece so the difference is a number you can see.

The finish never changes the price. Espresso costs what natural costs, on every piece.

How paying works

A deposit of 30% starts the work, and it is refundable in full until the day carving starts. The balance is due before the piece ships. A piece takes about four months to reach you. Indicative. We confirm your final price before anything is made.
